The resort boasts more than 450” of snowfall each winter and nearly 2,500 acres of terrain. Jackson Hole is known for providing a world-class backcountry experience and offering some of the most challenging terrain of any ski resort in the Mountain West. But it also has plenty of groomed trails, two terrain parks, and a massive Superpipe with 17-foot walls. If you have a large budget and massive reserves of adrenaline, heli-skiing is also available on the 5 mountains around the resort.
Jackson, Wyoming is the town near Jackson Hole. It is a choice spot for people with vacation homes and condos. They city is heavy on cowboy-themed bars and restaurants, but the micro-brews at Snake River and the tasty Italian dishes at Calico Restaurant would please snowboarders who wouldn’t be caught dead in a 10-gallon hat.
