Resort Profile- Heavenly

Everything at Heavenly is larger than life.  The Lake Tahoe location provides one of the most epic background in the region.  The mountain is expansive, with nearly 5,000 skiable acres and 94 trails.  These are divided equally between novice, intermediate and multiple black diamond.  During the day, the temperature rises above freezing, dropping lower at night, when most of the snowfall occurs.  The conditions are…heavenly.

There are five terrain parks with different themes aimed at riders of different skill levels.  Like the slopes, the terrain parks seek to provide a wide array of choices as well as cater to everyone who wants to use them.

Lake Tahoe is a huge resort area.  After-ski events command as much attention from visitors as what happens on the slopes.  Many of the resorts in the area have either dance clubs or live music venues.  There are always multiple options when it comes to after-dark fun.  In addition, many people try their luck at the casinos on the Nevada side of Heavenly.  Though most people come to get out on the snow, it would be quite possible to have the time of your life without even riding a chairlift once.

Of course, with nearly 5,000 acres waiting to be conquered, it would be hard to keep even the most indifferent snowboarder off the slopes.
